The 5 Personality Patterns Workshop

Understanding people this way is like having x-ray vision!  

There are many maps of personality, but most of them map only the surface behaviors of each type.  Character Structure starts at the core and explores how the patterned flow of energy through the body creates each type’s mental, emotional, and behavioral patterns.   Using it, you can:
  • understand how someone assembles their world  ("Why do they say those things?")
  • speak to them so that they feel deeply seen and understood
  • know their deepest fears and how to make them feel safe
  • know what they need and how to help them get it
  • know how best to work with them in a therapy situation
During this fun, informative weekend, you will get a felt-sense, embodied experience of:
  • the 5 personality patterns
  • how each feels from the inside
  • which patterns you do
  • the light side  --  the gifts, talents and skills of each pattern
  • the dark side  --  the distortions, core wounds, and unfinished tasks of each pattern

This course is taught by Steven Kessler, MFT # 23008, a licensed therapist for almost 30 years who has studied Character Structure intensively for over 10 years, including teaching it in various group settings. Recently, he gathered together the various strands of knowledge on Character Structure into a bestselling book, entitled The 5 Personality Patterns. He is also a Certified EFT Expert and Trainer, and the director of the EFT Therapy Center in Albany.
